How your book is made

  1. 1. Choose. Finished size, interior paper, colour or black-and-white printing, page count and quantity.
  2. 2. Upload. Your interior PDF at the finished page size. We read the page count and check the page size for you.
  3. 3. Cover. Your wraparound cover is one continuous strip - back, spine and front - printed rotated on a single 11 x 17 in or 12 x 18 in cardstock sheet. Upload your artwork if it is ready, or we build the spine template for you.
  4. 4. Price and preview. You see the price and your artwork on the real production sheet before anything happens.
  5. 5. Delivery. Pick up at our shop or have the finished books shipped. Shipping is included in the price.
  6. 6. Proof. Open your visual proof on this site. Approve it, or ask for changes. Nothing goes to press until you approve it.
  7. 7. Payment. Pay securely with PayPal or a credit or debit card. Your proof link stays open so you can still review or change your proof afterwards.

What makes it a softcover book?

The pages form a prepared book block, bonded at one edge to a scored wraparound cover. A saddle-stitched booklet instead folds nested sheets and fastens them with staples. The two products use different pagination, cover geometry, production methods and pricing.

Your price includes the paper, the printing, the binding, the cover and shipping. There are no extra charges once you approve the proof.
